Our Journey

2010

Exclusively Equine Veterinary Services
started from humble beginnings at our home
in September 2010 with a portable office. Our
daughter, Hannah, was 17 months of age
and our son, Zachary, was just four weeks old.

2010

Within two short months, we employed our
first Veterinary Nurse and Jason joined our
team full time to continue building the
business. Later that year, we employed our
first full time Veterinarian.

2011

One year on, we built our dedicated equine
veterinary and purpose-built breeding centre on
our 25 acre property in Hatton Vale. From our
Hatton Vale location, we serve the Lockyer Valley, Brisbane Valley, Ipswich and South Brisbane.

2011

Our region was devastated by the 2011
Queensland floods. For our work supporting
the local community, Dr Louise Cosgrove
received the Australian Veterinary
Association Award for Excellence.

2013

We launched our educational program in the
Lockyer Valley and surrounds. We hosted
education nights at our centre in Hatton Vale and
at local produce stores within our service areas.

2014

Our team increased to three full time
Veterinarians.

2015

Our breeding services expanded rapidly,
requiring us to build another 20 Mare yards,
dedicated Foal Down Yard and an additional
stallion yard for our breeding centre.

2016

We started producing online education videos
for our clients via Facebook Live and other social
media platforms. We now have the largest
Facebook equine veterinary page in Australia
and the world.

2018

Dr Louise Cosgrove began performing Castration Scar Manipulation and Ovary Manipulation procedures. She remains the only Veterinarian in Australia performing these life-changing procedures.

2020

Exclusively Equine Veterinary Services
celebrates 10 years.
