The founder of Exclusively Equine Veterinary Services, Louise is driven to support horses in their recovery from injury or illness. A graduate of the University of Queensland, with international equine reproduction experience, Louise loves helping clients breed their dream horses. Empathetic and understanding, she is a true horse lover. Her favourite is a Standardbred named Misty.
Brent enjoys neonatal medicine and thrives during breeding season when activity is highest at our breeding centre. A graduate of Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, Brent is a qualified veterinarian with a warm heart. His approach to veterinary care is based on patience and empathy. Outside of work, he is passionate about breeding Warmblood horses.
A true animal lover, but her first love is horses. Melissa is a compassionate and enthusiastic veterinarian whose bright and bubbly nature is infectious. You’ll always find her with a smile. A graduate of the University of Queensland, she is most interested in equine sports medicine, surgery, dermatology and neonatal medicine. She owns an OTTB named Joe.
Shelly is the chirpy voice on the end of the phone that you’ll come to know and love. Organised and efficient, she’s vital to the day-to-day running of our practice – scheduling consultations, sterilising equipment, ordering supplies and keeping our practice clean. Above all, she truly cares for the wellbeing of every client and horse. When not in the office, you’ll often find her on trail ride adventures.
A woman of many talents, Precilla is incredibly important to our practice. She manages staff wages and supports reception, while being a guru in breeding logistics, and passionate about workplace health and safety. Organisation is her middle name, but its her devotion to helping our clients help their horses that make her the true heart of our practice. She also loves her Miniature pony, Olly.
Chief Executive Officer
Managing the day-to-day operations, along with marketing and advertising, Jason’s leadership and business development skills keep our practice thriving. Able to turn his hand to almost anything, he’s also the maintenance man who keeps our breeding centre trimmed and mowed. On Friday nights, you’ll find him kicking a soccer ball with an over 30’s team in Brisbane.
Our on-site veterinary nurse, Lizzie keeps a watchful eye on all of our patients 24/7. Dedicated and highly capable, she’s involved in all aspects of veterinary and supportive care, and believes in giving each horse that extra TLC. Lizzie is currently studying veterinary science at the University of Queensland. In her spare time, she competes in dressage on her Warmblood, Reni.
